Entertainment choices, fitness centers, and additional businesses reside in the economic heart of the city.
Dining, Entertainment & Shopping
Harvey Bakery & Kitchen is located right within Heritage Hills. This favored establishment is an ideal breakfast spot. You can enjoy a breakfast protein bowl, sunrise B.L.T., or granola and yogurt. They also serve lunch, with salads, soups, and sandwiches on the menu.
Neighborhood JAM is another popular spot. Get a basic breakfast like the egg scramble or burrito, or choose something entirely unique. Their pineapple bourbon cakes and looney cakes made with carrot cake batter are crowd favorites.
Cafe Antigua is a solid choice for Guatemalan cuisine. Feast on tostadas, chilaquiles, carne asada, and flautas. For a similar fare, head over to Big Truck Tacos.
Cheever's Cafe is an excellent spot for both Southern and Southwestern cuisine and cocktails. This elegant bistro serves foods like roasted chicken and pepper jack strudel, snickerdoodle French toast, cowboy-rubbed salmon salad, chicken fried steak, and chicken tortilla soup.
Pho Lien Hoa offers Vietnamese specialties. It's a cash-only spot that comes highly rated.
Things to Do
(**NOTE TO EDITORS: I left out the children's center because it was just a Sunday school daycare, and it was poorly rated.)
Several parks make up the area to provide outdoor recreational opportunities for all. Winans Park is a quiet spot while Alice Harn Park is located near the Oklahoma Hall of Fame.
The Hall of Fame is a history museum that is home to many interactive exhibits. Perle Mesta Park has a lot more amenities to offer, such as its playground and gazebo. It's also the site for many gatherings and town events.
The Oklahoma Contemporary Arts Center is a spacious venue nearby, providing static and rotating exhibits. There is also a retail space on site where you can purchase art pieces and crafted items. The facility is open daily except for Tuesdays. It typically operates between 11 am and 6 pm.
