THE PASEO ARTS DISTRICT

Paseo and Uptown 23rd Street provide a fun, artsy experience for all.

Welcome to Paseo/Uptown 23rd Street

Paseo and Uptown 23rd Street provide a fun, artsy experience for all. Numerous art galleries, restaurants, and shops are in close proximity, creating a hip atmosphere for the community to enjoy. Paseo was even built as the very first shopping district north of downtown Oklahoma City back in 1929, and it has only grown exponentially since. With Spanish revival architecture present in many of the original stucco buildings with clay tile roofs, this historic area is well worth exploring.

Pets on Paseo is another yearly event. The goal is to encourage pet adoption. Food and music help pull in crowds, while special merchant offers and activities intended for pet owners and their companions are also available. Some of the proceeds benefit Country Roads or other local rescues.
